The Agency is a government body that conducts a unified state policy in the provision of medical and social services to the elderly, disabled people and other categories of the population in need of social protection.
The main tasks of the Agency are defined:
- Implements a unified state administration for organizing and improving the system of medical and social services for the elderly, disabled people and other vulnerable groups of the population;
- Make proposals for further improvement of legislation in the field of targeted medical and social services for the elderly, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups;
- Develops and implements state programs and regional programs for the development of medical and social services for the elderly, people with disabilities and other categories of the population in need of social protection.
